About
Spawned amidst the minds of counter culture aficionados, Piece Keeper (PCKPR) is a lifestyle
brand for the enthusiasts – tapping into the inner most desire of all collectors. We understand the
values of an enthusiast and we create products that fuel an addiction and a fixation with
representation. Whether it’s the fascination of clever concepts or appreciation for the small
things in life, PCKPR redefines and brings authenticity to the term “street culture”. We aim to
capture the dedication and loyalty of that lifestyle, and to develop clothing that represents the
“street” self-identity and culture. (Piece Keeper embodies the cringe factor of the next fix, and
seeks to reflect the passion and the simplicity of greed with a cause.)
Unlike many mainstream street-wear lines made specifically for the (different sub-cultures of the
greater urban culture,) PCKPR integrates the diversity of the multiple genres of people from
across the urban universe. From skaters to deejays to graffiti artists to hip-hop dancers, our
design philosophy is to blend and blur the lines that divide these groups, and develop an
intentional reflection of these blurred boundaries. For the individual seeking to establish,
strengthen or re-define their self-identity, PCKPR designs become the representation one needs
to project the complexity of a multi-layered identity.
Much like the infusion of style, art and quality, PCKPR highlights all of the positive and desired
characteristics of the diverse culture that is street-wear. To best reflect this diversity, PCKPR has
gone collecting various artists who span across the spectrum of urban culture. Tapping into their
passion for (authentic) designs, PCKPR is the outlet and the canvas used to display the artists’
great artwork. (This collaboration process is both very intimate and hands on.) From sitting down
with the artists to creating concepts of new designs, PCKPR is involved in every step of the way
to ensure the (authenticity) of each hand selected piece.
As we continue to strive for quality, we have selected products and methods that are sustainable.
These lead to higher (quality), as well as creating a positive impact on the larger community. We
choose to use 100% organic cotton not just because of its clear benefit to the environment. While
it is difficult to grow (due to the lack of pesticides and other unnatural treatments to maintain it),
it is of much higher quality, better for the consumer and softer to the touch.
